Peace of Jesus and warm regards……..!!

It is two years since I took charge as Parish Priest of St. Anthony's Church, Malwani, Malad West, (in June 2012). That is after completing 7 years at St. Joseph Parish, Goregaon East as Priest-in-Charge. ( 2005-2012). I praise and thank God for my ministry there amongst the loving and cooperative people of St. Josephs'. I HAVE ENJOYED THIS YEAR AT ST. ANTHONY'S AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YET ANOTHER HAPPENING YEAR.

St. Anthony's is an ancient parish and has a population of 14,000 plus parishioners. We also have a chapel - Infant Jesus Chapel - at Kharodi, which we service as well. The parishioners are warm and cooperative and well-intentioned. I hope I can have done my best in the first year and I look forward, with St. Anthony's help and intercession.

I am happy to have a great team of co-pastors in Fr. Henry Pereira( principal) Fr. Francis Xavier and Fr. Henry D'Souza. I thank God for them.

I wish you God's peace and happiness. Keep well…. And please do say a prayer for me too. You are always in my prayers. God Bless you.

Bernadette with Nancy, Nestor & Me..

My dear Friends, Our only sister BERNADETTE LENA NORRIS, passed away on 21st September 2006. She was 52. She was single and used to live with my mum. Berna battled cancer for 8 long years and yet she lived a full life. She worked till three months ago and always desired to "be healed". In fact her last words were:"Heal me..!" The Lord has healed our sister... She is whole now in His presence. Thanks for your prayers and support. God Bless you..

The remembrance Mass for Bernadette is on Saturday 22nd September 2007, at St. Andrew's Church, Bandra, at 8.00am.
